In my most recent trip, during the Luau
so many came up to me with cocktail or wine in their hand (looking guilty) and asked me if alcohol is ok?

And my answer always brings a relief and smile to their face

It’s actually really simple. Moderation is Key… and education is pivotal.

Many alcoholic beverages are loaded with carbs, some varieties packing over 30 grams in a single serving.

For example, cocktails and mixed drinks usually rely on high-carb, sugary ingredients like juice, soda, sweeteners or syrups.

Regular beer is produced from starch and can contain upwards of 12 grams of carbs in just one can.

So… for this reason. ..to maintain blood sugar stabilization.. choose to either eat your carbs or
DRINK your carbs!

Fact to know especially during this CNY…
Alcohol can also suppress fat burning and increase body fat by storing extra calories as fat tissue in your body.

And… calories in alcoholic drinks add up FAST! Faster than u can think….
